- Morning of apocalypse. Male wakes up hungover (with random lady co-worker) still in office party, in a closet or something. Gets bearings & fights a zombie, gets food, survival mode selected etc. (4 pages)
- Tries to phone home. No signal. Talks to woman about whats going on (and sad that all the money he's earned is now worthless), gets quest from her to explore other rooms and bring her back a first aid kit. (1-3 pages)
- Reward is a new container increasing bag space. She wants him to stay with her as she can't move and thinks its safer in this building. He has to keep his promise and get back home in time for Christmas. He begins his journey. (1-2 pages)
- Gets to car park and amazingly, his car is untouched. Next to the car park is a shop, and before leaving he decides get supplies. He gets a trolley and starts walking around, gets a baseball bat. The shop is a mess, bodies on the floor, blood in random places. He takes some food bits. Then he spots the electronics aisle which sets off the first flashback sequence... (2-4 pages)
- Flashback to being a kid in a shopping mall with his parents. His parents keep saying no to him wanting things. They basically ignore him. Tell him to wait on a bench while they go and look at adult things. He spots santa's grotto and goes and waits in the queue. The girl comes and waits behind him in the queue with her parents. They talk to each other about Christmas, maybe making a snowman together or something, and asking where his parents are etc.(or maybe he mentions he cant wait until he's older and can buy whatever he wants) When it's his turn to see santa he says he really hopes he's been good enough this year to receive a present. Santa looks concerned and asks what he wants. He tells santa he really wants the game 'Raising the dead 2' transition from flashback to present day. (3-4 pages)
- He's filled his trolley with games consoles, games & a new TV. He's on the way out of the shop when he sees a horde of zombies chasing a survivor. The survivor has a gun and is like an action hero killing the zombies while running, and dodging etc. He steals our character's car and drives away, the zombies chasing the car. He says 'fuck' (2 pages)
- Transition to another place, another time... the plane crashing in the woods. The zombie gains ability to run, as do the others. They run loose infecting all the service personnel. They head out through the woods. We see helicopters flying overhead. Some police officers put up a fight but ultimately they're useless. The quarantine the military have set up is pretty useless, although they do manage to kill many of the zombies, some of them get infected and now there's armoured zombies. Main zombie transitions to flashback. (2-4 pages)
- His flashback: Kills someone as an assassin target. Goes back to HQ, does the debriefing & hands in his resignation. Wants to spend time with his family and this job is taking a toll on his relationship.He gets home & his wife immediately starts shouting at him and talking down to him about never being around and that he doesn't care about them and she feels neglected. He says he's been doing everything he can to work to provide for his family and make a good life for them. She says she's been seeing someone else and is leaving him. He calls back his boss asking about what that next job was. ALTERNATE: He gets home & catches her cheating on him. He almost kills the guy. Then in a rage he phones his boss and accepts the job. (4 pages)
- Back to present, him & his zombie friends head into a shopping mall and eat loads of people. The female character (player 3) spots them from a hardware store. To be continued... (1-2 pages)
